A Weekly Update…

Tomorrow is May 1st! Please remember to submit your May fees so that you do not accrue late charges. Every month, we have to contact several parents to remind them to pay their fees so we encourage parents to please get their fees in!

Friday is May 2nd! If your child is currently registered at JKC and you want him/her to attend our Awesome Summer Adventure, you must submit your payments and registration to our office by Friday, May 2nd. All registrations that are received after this date will be charged General Registration rates. After May 2nd, General Registration forms will be available in the office only and to current members only. General Registration for non-members for summer begins May 13th and the forms will be posted on the website on the evening of May 12th.

May Is Child Care Month

The School Age Child Care Association (SACCA) is holding a conference in commemoration of Child Care Month.  The conference is on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver (WOSK Auditorium – 950 West 41st Avenue).  Although the conference is attended by Child Care providers, parents are encouraged to also attend.  Check out the “Conflict Resolution Skills” workshop by Karen Bondi.  Visit the SACCA website for details.
